Sustainability Shift

A small change in your life may not seem like it makes much of a difference. But if the people around you start making the same small change, the collective effort can create a major shift towards sustainability. That’s where the “Sustainability Shift” comes in. Once a month, I’ll post a new “shift” – a challenge to you to take on one small change in your daily life to help reduce your environmental impact.

All you have to do is try it out for two weeks, then come back and comment on how it affected your daily routine. Was it really a challenge or was it easy to incorporate? Do you feel alone in your efforts or are others catching on? What else could you do to address the problem? Are you going to keep it up? (I sure hope so!)

For those of you who are already taking on the monthly challenge and want to do something more, there will be a “Super Shift” at the bottom of the post. Typically this feature will take the shift and make it a darker shade of green or suggest a new challenge that addresses the same issue in a different way.
